Here are descriptions of the course offerings:
Basic Qaida (Beginners Arabic Alphabet) Course:
This is the world famous Qaida course that teaches absolute beginners how to read the Arabic alphabet - traditionally the first thing kids learn when starting to learn to read the Quran. This course is a pre-requisite for the Nazra Quran Course and students have to show mastery of the Arabic Alphabet (recognizing, reading, pronouncing and joining Arabic letters to form words) before they can be enrolled in the Nazra Quran Course.
Nazra Al-Quraan (Reading) Course:
This is generally the basic course required to teach the students how to read the Quran in its original Arabic text. The course builds on the Beginners Arabic Alphabet Course to teach how to read any verse from the Quran with confidence. In order to enroll for this course, students either have to complete the Beginners Arabic Course or demonstrate the ability to recognize, read, pronounce and join Arabic letters to form words in the assessment test. Understanding the rules of joining the alphabets to form words and pronouncing them correctly as well as where to pause and where not to pause is taught in this course.
Hifz Al-Quraan (Memorization) Course:
This course is for the advanced students who are interested in memorizing some or part of the Quran. The course assumes that the students have mastered the Arabic alphabet and has either gone through the Nazra Quran course or has demonstrated the ability to read the Quran properly in the assessment test. Depending on the intention, commitment and ability of the student, this course can be catered to memorize the last juz (Juz 30) or selected Surahs (Chapters) of the Quran (i.e. Surah Yusuf, Surah Kahaf, Surah Yasin, Surah Waqiah, Surah Mulk etc.).
Tajweed Al-Quraan Course:
This course is for the advanced students who are interested in learning to recite the Quran following all the rules of correct pronouncing and beautification of the recitation as taught by various world famous Qaris. This course covers the entire text of Ahkam At-Tajwid book which will make you or your child into a beautiful reciter of the Quran which can make you really experience the reading of the Quraan in the way it is intended.
